At some point in an argument, Houdini is always ready to make a speech, a home run to his aggregated whinings.
He takes a deep breath and dons his serious face. In his elevated demeanor, Houdini warns he has allowed Kopernicus on various unauthorized trips to spy for fun, and he has obviously helped Kopernicus to “cheat” at his ram trainings, so it is rightful that now is the time for Kopernicus to do a favor in return.
Houdini promises World Peace can happen! – if only Kopernicus agrees to marry ewes.
Kopernicus calls Houdini out that he’s a hippo-crit since Houdini couldn’t even get world peace with one dame back at Cat Kingdom. Houdini should have been defensive about it for Cat Kingdom is a very tough land with personality driven lords and ladies. His sister, Lady Marjorie, ahem is one such lady. So it’s of no comparison to the easy land of sheep. But Houdini let Kopernicus go on with his side of whines.
“Take me with you when you emigrate. That’s more real.” Kopernicus deflates. It’s just not possible to get peace with a herd of ewes as large as a hundred.
What perplexes Houdini is what is HIPPO-CRIT exactly?
He has seemingly forgotten an adventure he went out with Kopernicus in the riverlands way south. Kopernicus hints that they are the creatures that claim they are great swimmers, but instead, they are not, making them hippocrits, which maybe Kopernicus means “hypocrite” in formal English. However, Kopernicus is more of a visual learner.
The training goats are having an amusing time watching the two argue. Cali waves an alfalfa snack, while calling out, “Looking for a swimmer?” Because she is a world class swimmer.
This aggravates Houdini, and he immediately starts his run towards the goats chilling on the stadium.
Corgi guards on break are entertained too, laughing, giggling. Houdini’s had enough! Aren’t they, the goats, supposed to be the trainers, to get Kopernicus on track?
He yells for their attention to quit their snickers and do something!
How will they take Kopernicus to train next? Stay tuned for Chapter 16 next week.
Since the holidays are coming up, General Iris is giving praises to her good sheep citizens. And with a shepherd’s holiday cane, she wishes everyone a Merry Xristmas!
