From the fall from the tree at aerial yoga amongst the goats, Kopernicus catches a great momentum to ROLL forth, up and down hills, and far…
Soon, his rotund body arrives in full force at where the ewes are out grazing for the afternoon.
General Iris is meticulously examining which grass to eat first. Isolde is singing her usual operas while chewing. Iris’ daughter, Kusco, with a tender face, looks on. She sees her silly half brother rolling towards them.
Then, as Kusco eyes the path of Kopernicus’ roll, he of course rolls out of sight. General Iris is still oblivious, looking at the sky to ponder just which moon will orchard grass begin to sprout, then what is her strategy today to graze?
Kopernicus bounces, spins, whirls, further and further into the denser parts of the grazing herd. Other ewes are certainly taking notice.
“Wee!!” As Kopernicus jubilates, he CRASHES into the bums of many ewes, and they fly off in all directions.
General Iris finally sees the rolling Kopernicus in action. Naturally, she furrows her brows.
As ewes fly and fall to the ground, Iris finds herself compelled to help them up one by one. She grunts, “if only I had a son, this would have been a lot easier.”
Isolde overhears. Yet, rather than becoming angry, she comforts Iris.
Rolling onto a pile of ewes, then rolling off, Isolde reminds Iris that the key to having rams is to try falling in love, instead of planning and strategizing. She becomes nostalgic about the days when King Jasper was alive.
To that, Iris rejects the advice. She believes her sister Isolde is always “drowning in emotions!” And that’s why Isolde isn’t suitable to rule. To rule, one needs steadfast logic, neutral stance, and exemplary planning. Iris feels empowered with her belief.
Isolde remains in her bubble and indulges in her aloof self, “No thank you sister, no rules for me.” No ruling, no rules, away from all that. And she kindly warns Iris not to be too hard on herself, or Kopernicus.
Will Iris listen in anyway? And where will Kopernicus roll forth into? Stay tuned for next week…
