Back in his room, Kopernicus is moping.
His room is grand, with a fountain in the middle and a golden mer-sheep spewing out fresh water. He’s got tons of chaises ready to host his friends. In each corner, there’s a poop box to collect visitors’ poop. Kopernicus values good quality poop, for they are great fertilizer for his beloved exotic roses in his room, and out in the gardens of Baapolis.
Recently, a few bees flew in sprigs of herbs and far away nutmegs. Kopernicus, finding a bodily action that most suitably expresses his frustration and anger, is trying to break a nutmeg.
Every time he pounds the nut, the nut bops and flies, then bounces on another wall, another column.
Houdini, on his way to his office with new scrolls sent in by his eagles, walks by Kopernicus’ room. He certifies that the nutmeg will definitely outlast Kopernicus.
Then, Aali the ramming trainer walks by with leather balls. He is on his way to set up the Ramputthon exercise for other training rams and ewes for the afternoon.
He gets excited seeding Kopernicus’ willpower in pounding the nutmeg. He instructs THAT should be the power Kopernicus uses in training.
“That’s the Kopernicus I want at training!” Aali drops all his balls and flexes with bulky enthusiasm. Kopernicus rams the tiny nutmeg.
Pa!
Bing!
Doh!
Tahh…
Woooosh
The nutmeg flew out of his room, into the wide world outside.
Ever since Alpaca Empire was mentioned in earlier chapters, our readers never got to meet the alpacas. We won’t see them soon just yet. So to satisfy everyone’ curiosity, we decided to publish a SHORT regarding certain alpacas that live within the Alpaca Empire, so we get to see them for who they are, and not just what General Iris describes (which, ahem, can be biased).
